Speaker: Vyto Babrauskas, Ph.D
Speaker Bio: Vyto is a long-time researcher at NIST, conducting research in toxicology, materials flammability, building code regulations, etc. He has developed HRR apparatuses now standard in labs (Cone Calorimeter, large open HRR calorimeter)
Vyto has been a forensic consultant since 1993 as well as an author, lecturer, and independent researcher. Vyto has been a Principal Member of the NFPA 921 committee since 2006 and is the author of The Ignition Handbook. Some of his latest books published include Electrical Fires and Explosions, and Smoldering Fires (2021).
